Ads that get my attention

There are so many different ways to advertise a product in today's world, and it is almost impossible to avoid these ads in our everyday lives. The type of ads that get my attention are video ad campaigns that tell a story or have a significant meaning. Video ad campaigns catch my attention the most because they usually have more detail and sense behind it, which makes me want to watch them not specifically for the product being advertised but more for the story in the ad. For example, many Dove advertisements are short videos that address common self-image and body image issues that many women face. Their ad campaigns still promote Dove products, but it is not the main focus behind the ad. Instead, it centers more around a meaningful message that is important to their brand and message. An ad like this gets my attention way more because it feels more natural and something I would watch in my daily life instead of something being forced upon me. Overall, video ad campaigns are the type of ads that get my attention most because they connect with me as a consumer in a natural and non-forced way, which ultimately makes me respect the brand more, and I'm even more likely to buy something from their company this way.
